James David (Jim) Ulrick passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 30, 2021 at his home in Avery County, North Carolina. He had battled many health issues in his later years, but chose to take rest on his terms at his happy place, surrounded by a strong support network. He loved camping, hiking and boating and shared those adventures with his wife Sue and valued friend JB.
