He was a caring father and was very fond of his friends. His passions were classical music (Brahms and Bach among his favorites). He played the cello too. He loved cooking, skiing, painting and literature (Balzac and Marcel Proust as favorites). He loved mountains and lakes, leading him to move upon retirement to Adirondack, New York, where he lived on Lake Schroon. He moved to North Carolina in the spring of 2021 to be closer to his daughter Nioucha and his grandchildren. He will be missed by so many, as he touched our lives with his beautiful personality, humor, kindness and soul. Arrangements for a service will be decided in the near future and will be communicated through Facebook and this website.
